PASTORAL CARE

What is Pastoral Care?

Pastoral Care is the way we show love to our church family, friends, and neighbors in times of need.
We are community - and we mean it.

Clergy to Parishioner

Receive care. The clergy of Redeemer are here for you. Whether you or a loved one are in the hospital, experiencing a mental health crisis, living in an assisted living community, homebound, or just reeling from something life has thrown at you, Grace+ and Jenny+ are here to offer a pastoral presence. To seek pastoral care, please contact the Church Office or fill out the pastoral care request form Here.

Parishioner to Parishioner

Give care. Here at Redeemer, there are many ways for parishioners to serve fellow parishioners. If you feel called to engage in this ministry, please explore the various opportunities available below and reach out to the church to become more involved.

Altar Flower Delivery

This ministry delivers beautiful altar flower arrangements from our Sunday morning worship services to our home-bound and hospitalized parishioners.

Durable Medical Equipment (DME)

DME provides secondhand, quality medical equipment to those who are in need. Equipment includes: crutches, wheelchairs, and walkers.

Lay Eucharistic Ministry

Our Lay Eucharistic Ministers are trained parishioners who take communion to serve to those who are unable to come to church.

Meal Train

Do you need help with meals? Meal Train simplifies the organization of meal giving around significant life events such as new babies, health crises, and more. To sign up for meal trains fill out form below.

Needlework Ministry

This team provides knitted and crocheted items for friends and family members who are ill, grieving, or simply need to feel physically wrapped in prayers. They also offer knitted baptismal blankets to welcome the newly baptized.

Transportation Angels

This group of Parishioners volunteer to take fellow members to doctor’s appointments, physical therapy, the grocery store or general errands when a parishioner is unable to drive because of an injury or illness.

In recent years, the service has been extended to friends of Redeemer when we become aware of a community need. To request this support, fill our form below.
