Past and Future Donors:

I am excited to announce that our next blood drive will be Sunday, May 16th at 8:30 – 12:30 pm, in Parish Hall.  May is Trauma Awareness Month, and donors of all blood types – especially type O – are needed to help ensure hospitals are prepared the moment trauma patients and others arrive.

Please come to the drive and help save lives. Your donation can save up to 3 lives or up 9 babies’ lives!  All donations are also tested for COVID19 antibodies. 

Anyone who comes to the Blood Drive to donate is eligible to enter a raffle for King’s Dominion tickets! We will do the drawing at the end of the Drive.    

You can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or sign up directly at https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive and enter Redeemer to schedule an appointment. Walk-ins are always welcome as well, although they may need to wait longer.  Please share with your friends and neighbors, or on social media.  16 year olds are eligible to donate with a parent’s consent.

American Red Cross has a number of additional safety precautions in place due to Covid in addition to normal precautions, including taking the temperature of donors, distancing of donors while waiting and donating, and requiring masks. Let me know if you have any questions.
