WORSHIP MINISTRIES
Worship Ministries Welcome You
Our worship services are made possible through the devotion of many people who attend Redeemer. Their common purpose is to use music, ritual, and decoration to create an atmosphere to help congregants to develop their spiritual side and create a closer relationship with God.
Altar Guild
This volunteer group cares for the altar, vestments, vessels, and altar linens of the parish. Altar Guild members set the Lord’s Table by preparing the bread and wine for the Eucharist and arranging the altar and nave for worship.
New members to the Altar Guild will find a group of friendly people eager to welcome and train anyone. Are there resources I can check out relating to this ministry? Click Here.
Flower Guild
Members of this group provide the flowers and greenery that grace the altar for services, including the spectacular displays for Christmas and Easter. No experience is necessary; everyone is welcome.
Gallery Choir
Dwight Graham, Interim Director of Music, leads this group in providing choral and instrumental music. Choir practice is every Thursday at 7:00 PM.
Lay Readers & Prayers
of the People
Members of this ministry read the scripture lessons or Prayers of the People during the service. How can I learn more about these ministries? Please fill out our contact form below.
Ushers
Ushers have a goal of minimizing distractions during the music and sermon. Ushers stand ready to assist anyone in the congregation who might need help, to aid latecomers in finding a seat, and to inform those in the sanctuary of any urgent matters.
