Needlework Ministry

The Needlework Ministry of Redeemer seeks to serve God by offering knitted and crocheted prayer shawls and the smaller prayer squares to congregants to give to family members or friends suffering any kind of distress and needing the comfort of a soft shawl or prayer square to remind them that they are not alone.

Recently added are crocheted baby blankets to be given to newly baptized babies, sharing with them the love and warmth of their new church family.

The only skill required for this ministry is the ability to knit or crochet and the desire the share this gift with others. It is an individual activity not requiring meetings, unless some folks choose to get together.
