CCHASM | Thanksgiving Meal Drive

Support CCHASM’s 2021 Thanksgiving Meal Program

Redeemer is excited to participate in CCHASM’s Thanksgiving 2021 Meal program.  Last year, CCHASM (Chesterfield  -  Colonial Heights Alliance for Social Ministry) was able to provide a Thanksgiving meal to 2,400 families in Chesterfield County, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Hopewell and Prince George.  We would like to match or exceed that goal in 2021.  Let’s show gratitude for our many blessings by helping others in need to celebrate Thanksgiving with full bellies.   Bags of meals (double bagged in PAPER BAGS) will be collected in the parlor on the following  Sundays: October 31, November 7 and November 14.  Each meal bag should contain all of the following items: (Please do not add additional items.)

• 1 – 40 oz. can yams

• 1 - 14 oz. can cranberry sauce

• 2 – 15 oz. cans corn

• 2 – 15 oz. cans green vegetables

• 2 – cans or pkgs. of turkey gravy

• 1- 13 oz. box mashed potatoes

• 2 – boxes of ”Stove Top” stuffing mix (no bags)

• 1 box hot chocolate

• 1 box tea bags – regular flavor

• 1 large box or bag of cookies

       NO GLASS JARS!

Also needed are $15 grocery store gift cards to be given to each family to purchase turkeys and fresh produce.  Please deposit gift cards in the “Thanksgiving” box in the church office.
